This morning we streamed in to the communion and election service back home. Are hearts were there. And we were disappointed also in the unsuccessful election.
Excerpt from Lonnie’s notes:
The night went pretty well Annslie got restless around 1:30 and woke us up. I gave her some melatonin and she romped for another hour till I gave her some more. She finally went to sleep. I got up and called Verizon and canceled my plan. I took some melatonin and went back to bed. Had a pretty restless rest of the night. Finally Annslie got us up at 5:45. Sent her to the girls room. After breakfast Maddie and I took a broom, mop, shovel and squeegee to the roof top and spent a couple hours washing it off. While we were at it we washed the second story porch as well. Came in and had a lunch of tacos with some stuff pulled out of the freezer. Nette was pretty shot all day so the day got pretty long for us taking care of Annslie. She decided she wasn’t going to take a nap so she was really a handful. I took her on a walk out to the gate of Pink City. We finally gave her a shower around 5:30 and put her down for the night. My stomach is feeling a bit weak this evening. Hopefully it passes soon. The other girls hit the hay around 6:00. I’m pretty much done in so maybe that’s it for today.
On the lunch from the freezer:
