Something crossed the toddler’s will on the drive to church and we were all well aware of a very healthy set of lungs for Way too long. The fellow toddler was quite traumatized I’m afraid. I’m thinking we’re gonna need to find some ear plugs for our fellow travelers for occasions like this or Jared’s will suggest we take our own ride! After we arrived at the clinic, we met one of Josna and Sumita’s friends from their village who’s got an office job here in Dhaka. (And the fellow toddler was seen still covering her ears even tho the squalling had subsided upon arrival)
During the service, the fact that, the days are starting to warm up, was not able to go unnoticed.
For lunch we went to North End coffee shop. I thought I could go there every “Sunday” for lunch😋 roast beef croissants with a tiny white pitcher of red dipping sauce that had horseradish in it. We got Peach Strawberry Fizz for a specialty drink. Then “Freddos”=blended frappés with an assortment of desserts, all very satisfactory!! Date bars (moist with crunchy oatmeal and brown sugar streusel), soft chocolate cookie with a few small square white choc chunks, and a brownie which was definitely was headed towards fudge. The choc desserts were the perfect shade/taste of choc, on the darker side🤤
On to Uni Mart for our weekly grocery shopping. The children enjoyed the play area provided while we shopped. Wonder when Walmart will provide a play area…?… but then, UniMart doesn’t provide a pickup or delivery service…
Annslie fell asleep on the way home with a successful transition to her pak n play.
