Tues 11th

Paninna(language teacher) arrived while I was finishing up combing Annslie’s hair. She wanted to know what I sprayed on her hair. Do you use it every day? I told her it is hairspray and yes, Annslie has such fine hair, I use it every day. I asked if they sale it here in BD? I guess it’s kind of hard to find and she mentioned that when you go to get your hair done they will use it, but it’s really strong. She took a picture of the front of it.. I told her I could get her some from America. And she’s like,” oh, but that would only be for 6 months- a year!” She sprayed some in the palm of her hand and dabbed it on her hair with her finger (never saw hairspray applied that way before 😉) and says, “Sometimes I need something like this.”

Today we learned the verb endings and sentence structure for future tense.

Got our homework done in good time. Was proud I finished before Lonnie this time (by just a hair)😜 but then I the remembered I had some sentences from yesterdays homework that I needed to correct😏

We walked over and got Annslie from Brianna’s. Stayed and visited a bit..

Annslie had a late night last night, didn’t get her to sleep till midnight because of a late nap… domino effect😏 so we fed her a little and she was soon sleeping..  Lonnie + I caught a little cat nap too. Then time to start lunch. School went clear till after 1:00 and I was just getting lunch going. So got pretty late.. Was enthused to try the smash tacos that Sheila had just told me about! They were a hit with my family😊

Did some flood irrigating in the front yard..

Made more tacos to use up the thawed meat while the girls cleaned up the kitchen.

Showers and to Jared’s by 4:30 to go sing at the clinic with Josna and Sumita. Was not too peaceful of a scenario with the toddlers, didn’t sing too long.. but enjoyed the little that we did sitting in a circle in the front room of the clinic there. Sumita has a strong soprano along with Jared. Lonnie and I join in with tenor and alto. Most of the songs we sang today were familiar hymns, but always in Bangla. Was happy to notice today, for the 1st time while we were singing, that I was picking out Bangla words that I know now🤗

A 3 yr old patient and Mom joined us for singing. She is from Gopalgonj area and knew Kelly and Lanae Friesen?, previous missionaries (Hazelton?) Showed us a picture of their family on her phone!

Miss Shana stayed home to prepare supper. She’d volunteered to cook for us all🤩 Butter chicken and naan bread!
