I had just a little of my test left, so Paninna checked Lonnie’s homework and test while I finished my test. After she checked our tests, we were suppose to see if we could correct the mistakes on our own. Then she went thru each mistake with us. On a new page we were supposed to write the number of the problem, the correct answer, and the gramatical rule. By time we got thru all the mistakes I was emotionally at the breaking point…. I told Lonnie he was welcome to grade my test, if he wanted to, but I was quite sure I flunked it and my gut feeling was that my grade would be a 43%.. he did grade it eventually and said it wasn’t as bad as I’d tho’t.. I asked if it was a 50%.. and then eventually I did get the courage to peek at the grade.. was pleasantly surprised with an 83%!???! Was pretty sure he must’ve have not figured something right so we went back over counting the points possible and it appeared that he had figured correctly!?! That was encouraging, maybe I have been able to retain more than I first thought of this month of language study. Lonnie made a 93%..
We were not assigned homework!😌
I did some “kitchen therapy”.. made banana muffins for our upcoming trip and Mock Oreo cookies with a box of gluten free cake mix that I’d accidentally picked up the other day.. ended up being a texture and taste that we were not accustomed to..
