Laundry
Endeavored to teach my maid how to clean a bathroom to American specs🫣
Put some of the final touches to my most recent dress..
When Dipti (maid) arrived this morning, one of the girls commented that “she looks different than normal🤔” and then later Maddie exclaims,”Dipti’s wearing a dress!” (It is the type that can be bought here in this country, we might think of it more like a house dress with a gathered yoke over the blouse and otherwise a loose straight dress)… not the traditional Shari, which is a LONG pc of fabric that they wrap around themselves in a precise manner. Sometime during the morning Dipti tells me “I’m thinking of making a dress that matches the dress code” !?! … I’ve been working on my sewing and she has been observing as I cut out and sew… her comment the other day was something to the effect of “onek kosto koren” (you go to much trouble)! But it must look doable!?.
