Lonnie grilled up a bunch of chicken for me, mostly for the freezer and we had chicken sandwiches for lunch.
Washed our bedding.
In the evening, we took Annslie over to Brian and Kaylee’s we hung out for awhile til Brian got home.. he’d taken Bennett on the scootie to go check out the fire at the airport.. then we left her there for the night. Let me tell you, that was the hardest thing I’ve done since coming to Bangladesh!!… leaving my high maintenance toddler for the night😭
And we headed to the hosp. for a scheduled induction to welcome the baby brother, who was a couple days past his due date.
Upon admission, we paid for a package. . Normal delivery and care and deluxe “cabin” on 10th floor.
Then we went to the labor and delivery on 2nd floor. We were taken to a 3-bed ward with scanty privacy curtains and family of fellow patients coming and going😳 I knew, without a doubt, that this was a place I would not be staying if I could at all help it!! So, I began asking each person if they had a room we could go to with only 1 bed!??! Eventually they obliged and took me to a delivery room with only 1 bed and privacy! Relief! They did some tests and hooked me up to a monitor for awhile. Then took us up to our “cabin” for the rest of the night. Our room up on 10th is very comfortable, complete with microwave, fridge, couch, comfy armchair, bathroom with shower, clean✨
