Mom’s traditional coffee cake for breakfast then jumped in with Jared’s to go to church at the clinic.
Our interpreter was there so we could have a bona fide opening and short sermon with the songs. Two 6,7? yr olds that are currently patients at the clinic with their moms joined our service. After the benediction Lonnie asked the children to gather for some impromptu “Sunday school” songs. He had talked about David and Goliath and wanted to sing “Only A Boy Named David” with them. We also sang The Wise Man and the foolish man both with all the actions. The natives joined in well! They have The Wise Man and the Foolish Man in the Bengali songbook that we use so we sang it in Bangla next😊. We always stay a little while and visit after. Then we went to Farmhouse Burger for lunch.https://maps.app.goo.gl/zeAJumSkNqoYiuJQ8?g_st=com.google.maps.preview.copy
But nobody got burgers😉 Instead it was tacos, quesadillas, chicken fingers, fries, Mac n cheese, and shake😄
Stopped by Uní mart to grab more diapers for Annslie.
Went for a nice long walk with the family. Out the PinkCity gates back behind our house down a sandy road with low shrubby green “country side” to our left and what looks like forgotten bricked rice paddies to the right?…
Rice, beans, grilled chicken (out of the freezer), + vinaigrette for supper.
