Cut out a dress
The girls brought the pool down from the roof so they could use well water to fill it that was not heated up from sitting in the tank on the roof.
Lonnie went for a walk and came upon a group of middle school age boys. They wondered where Brock had gone (the previous missionary’s 8/9? yr old) and then wanted Lonnie to come with them. They stopped at their houses and came dashing back out changed from their school uniforms into their swimming trunks. Down to the flooded rice field where they commenced to hunt for snails. Lonnie held the white gunny sacks and on the way home as he was carrying these heavy sacks, he overheard 2 men on the roadside questioning, “Bengali or bideshi?” So he hollers, “bideshi!” And did that ever get a laugh! 😂 tickled their funny bone!
