We invited the whole crew(BD missionaries that are all currently in Dhaka) for supper. So the day was spent preparing for that in one way or another. Jared’s came after afternoon naps to use the washing machine. Lonnie grilled drumsticks and thighs. Roasted potatoes and green salad, Kaylee made her yummy chunked cinn. apples and I made a pumpkin yummy dessert.. starting with baking a misti kumra(our pumpkin sub.) and making a basic mix to make a cake mix from scratch. I was happy with the final product even if it didn’t have exactly the same textures as I was used to “back home”.🙃 The ladies all pitched in and helped get the food on and then cleaned up after. “Many hands make light work”.
