Dipti cooked lunch for us
Lonnie spent some time at the library (classroom) just down the road again. He told how the teacher had slapped a mosquito on his(Lonnie’s) neck and then reached over and felt Lonnie’s arm. “Gorom!” (hot) so Lonnie felt his (teacher’s) arm and it was cool to the touch.?. Anyway this lovely, balmy weather is Cold to these folks!! Especially as night comes on , we see stocking caps and fleece jackets….. at 71*!!!! And this weather has also brought on mosquito season 🦟 which is very sad cause we really enjoy having the windows open! Would love to all night too, but as evening approaches the amount of mosquitoes in the house increase as most of the windows do not have screens😏
I made hot hamburger dip for a light supper. Lonnie brought “chips” home from the village.. but we just really don’t care for the flavor.. they are very thin and crispy shaped like a tortilla.. we ended up pulling out the crackers instead. He also brought home some fried “street food” that we really enjoyed. Small round peyag(onion) patties fried crispy that had some very flavorful mash? mixed with the onions😋 hopefully they’ll be available when you come to visit😉 they asked Lonnie if we have anything like this in America?
The food sounds delicious! Maybe you will learn how to cook it 😉😁.
