Wed. Nov. 26

Lonnie left at 7:00 to do an eye camp in Phultala https://maps.app.goo.gl/bkLXJKH5gtEv63VR7?g_st=ic

Dipti cooked lunch for us. Lonnie had asked to have her make ruti to see what she would make. So when I relayed the information, she wanted to know if I for sure wanted ruti or if I wanted paratha? It seems like there’s so many variations of each that I sure didn’t know what to tell her!! She ended up making ruti.(paratha is thicker and fried in oil, a lot like fry bread) We were very happy with the result! It was a small thin flour tortilla baked on a dry griddle. She rolled each one out with the rolling pin! They were yummy enough that I don’t know why I’d go to the bother of making flour tortillas🙃 She made chicken curry and cauliflower fry to eat with the tortillas.

In the evening Christina, the girls, and I sat down and wrote things we were thankful for using each letter of the word THANKSGIVING. A picture drawn for each was optional. A fun little exercise😊
